For access to CMS Student, please refer to the following based on your position:
FACULTY
Faculty members automatically receive access to the CMS Student "Faculty Center" when CMS detects the faculty as "active." Active pertains to either a full-time, permanent faculty member or a lecturer with a complete/signed contract updated in CMS. See Faculty Center Help.
ALL NEW ADVISORS and NEW STAFF
INFORMATION SECURITY TRAINING REQUIREMENT
All New Staff and Newly Appointed/Designated Advisors are required to complete "Information Security Training." Access to CMS Student depends on the completion of training. Request access to "online" Information Security Training. Read about the Information Security Training procedures and expectations. For questions, email: informationsecuritytraining@csumb.edu.

NEW STAFF
Access to CMS Student depends on an employee's role or position at CSUMB. Although access has been pre-defined for each position, new employess must complete a New Employee Data Access Request.-
Academic Support Staff must complete a Catalog and Schedule Class

All Advisors including Faculty, Professional Staff and Peer Mentors must complete an Alternate Data Access Request.-
Faculty Advisors must receive approval from the College Dean
